I have seen products to use with embossing folders so the imprint does not cover a certain space. Like, leaving an oval in the middle so you can stamp there. I know Darice makes them, but I don't even know what to search to find them online. Thanks for your help.
Ladies, Thanks for your help in naming this item for me. I was surprised at the price...They must be reusable. I may try to make some myself!
I'm sure you could make them using chipboard and cutting out the shapes. But having them all ready made was too enticing for me, so I ordered them from ebay.
Here is a video showing the folders in action. You can use them with any embossing folder.
In the wood crafting area of Michaels you can find frames called Creative Shapes with ovals or squares cut in them. Mine says Lara's crafts on it. I think I paid 99 cents for each of them.

At last, something I have -- no need to order something else right now. Chipboard did not work for me but I'm sure some old wooden ornaments will work. TFS
