Default Using Fantastix blue coloring tool

I have several of these coloring sticks. They were an impulse buy at a closing stamp store. I have tried to color with them and pastels but really don't like the look or the feel of the way they work. I am sure I am going something wrong.

Can anyone tell me how to use these little gems. I looked for a video on YouTube and only found one where they were used with colored pencils and odorless mineral spirits. I am sure there are other ways.

Thanks for all your help.

At first I hated them also. For chalks I actually use a water brush or sponges.

I use my Fantastix for Tsukinko shimmer paints/Twinkling H2O's & stickles and they work perfect for things like that.

I use my fantastix to color directly on the stamps using ink from reinker bottles. I think the tips on these are too hard to color on paper with ink, but if you use a thicker medium like twinkling H2Os, they probably move easier on the paper. Thanks to meluvstampin, I'm going to try using them to color the rubber with H2Os. In the past I've used brushes to color stamps with TH2Os, but it can be messy, and I think this would work easier.
