Default useing a air compressor with copic for air brushing

I have the kit for the airbrush for the compressor. Has anyone used it with a regular compressor? A shop up North uses it.I am wondering if there is a converter piece that I need to get to make it fit the 1/4" tubing. ( I have the thing that regulates the pressure to 50 lbs)
Thanks for any help you might have.

I bought mine from Rex Art (Sparmax AC100 Pro) with free shipping and didn't need any extra parts. I believe this is the model that Marianne told me is sold by Copic. It's probably because the model fits the tubing that comes with the airbrush kit (ABS-1). HTH
