I use one binder for stamp inventory. The binders with stamps are just numbered.

Univenture does have binders with a plastic sleeve so you can make a paper insert. They're called View Binders and they come in a couple sizes.

http://www.univenture.com/shop/3_ring_binders.php

They're more expensive than the ones without the plastic sleeves, but far less than $12.95!

Also, I have a coupon code to share: Save $15 off of $100+ order!
Don't miss out on this special St. Patrick's Day savings. Take $15 dollars off of any order over $100 that you place at Univenture.com between now and St. Patrick's Day.

Please use coupon code: ST83HT43

Also, I have been looking at the storage binders from Univenture and it appears that they do not have a clear overlay for a customizable sheet to see what is in the binder. I see that Ellen Hutson's binders do have that overlay, but her binders are $12.95 EACH!!

What are you gals doing for stamp set identification? A separate binder for indexes and then numbering the storage binders? Just wondering...
My Univenture binder boxes have the clear overlay. They even had a downloadable template so I can custom print my index for the outside of the box.

Hi Jen!

Question, which ones did you get that are only $1.07 ea? The minis or the full size? The ones I found with the sleeves are here: http://www.univenture.com/shop/1.5_v...ing_binder.php

But they are $6 something each...

I get these: http://www.univenture.com/shop/1.25_..._A5_binder.php

The default is black, so be sure to use the drop down arrow to choose white if you want white.

They do have the clear 'sleeve' overlay thingy so you can make a cover if you want.

Thanks Jen!! Another quick question, these are the 1/2 size that hold the pages found with GinaK right? I have 5 of the full size pages and am thinking I should go to the 1/2 size, the full size may be a bit too big. Do you like the 1/2 size?

Sorry for all the questions, I am trying to find the best way to store my Ippity!

Yes, and I get my pages at Gina K.

I really like these. A full Gina K set will fit on a page.

I also store my other UMs in them.

AND, now my nesties ... copying my Mom on this one, LOL.
Got the Quickutz self-adhesive magnetic sheets from Hobby Lobby... $4.99 for six 4"x12" sheets. Be sure to take along a 40% off coupon!
See attached pic!

I have my Ippity in these too!
Most ippity sets take two sheets.
You can get 4 layers of rubber in one box.
I'm managing to get in 3 ippity sets per box.

See my pic in the above post...
So far I have five pages in there w/ nesties front and back.
I have two more sets but I ran out of magnetic sheets.
I'm sure I could get 2 to 3 more pages filled front and back.

Oh another question, I know you said above, but to confirm. You can get 2 sheets loaded front and back with stamp sets in a binder? Is that what you mean by 4 layers of rubber?

I've not done anything yet for the pics... Thought about printing off the set and laminating it...
I'll go take a pic of what I do for my Gina K sets...

GK stamps come with an index sheet and a page.
I take out the stamps, put the index sheet back in the packaging it all came in, punch holes and place it in the binder as well.

I got my panels from Ellen Hutson and I already placed my stamps
in the large panels. Now to choose a binder from Univenture.
For those that have the large 8.5 x 11 panels, which binder did you get?
Oh, and how many panels did you fit in there?
I have both clear and ez mount stamps on my panels both sides.
Thanks =)

These will fit the large sheets, but no overlay for cover sheet:
http://www.univenture.com/shop/1.5_c...ing_binder.php

I ordered these, they DO have an overlay and were only $1 more each. They are coming tomorrow!
http://www.univenture.com/shop/1.5_v...ing_binder.php

I JenMarie posted here she can fit 2 sheets loaded front and back, or 4 sheets with rubber on one side.

Thanks to everyone's information and answers I just ordered 10 of the larger binders without the overlay, I can just write on the spine. Does anyone know how long it takes to get to Canada USPS? Thanks.

I have my clear stamps on both sides of the panels and they are sticking
to each other. Am I supposed to put a sheet of paper between panels?

hum....the ones I have rubber only in are great filled on both sides...I have some clear stamps and I have kept the little plastic sheet that covers them when you buy them and use that to cover the stamp...it does kind of stick to it so I would bet if that wasn't there I would have them stuck together also....I would think a piece of tissue paper or something like that would work fine.

My rubber stamps are great. Its the clear ones that I am having trouble with.
I just didnt know what kind of paper, if any, to use to keep them from
sticking to the previous page and each other.

You know I was thinking that may happen with Acrylic stamps! I am only using these for my rubber. I considered using them to store my Verve, but this is good to know. I will keep them as is. What a bummer!

another thought - you could just put the clear ones on one side of the binder sheet and that would keep them from touching each other...you should then be able to get about 5 - maybe 6 pages in one binder.

Wish I could find the 8 1/2 x 11 lightweight panels for cheaper shipping then sunday international. They are too high in shipping when these are stiff and will fit in a manila envelope. LOL
Hi;

Starving Artist Stamps carry the large 81/2 x 11 ([email protected]) panels and the mini panels ([email protected]). She also carries the Thin Mount which I prefer.
Anyway, her shipping is pretty reasonable I think.

0-$30 = 4.95
$30-$45=5.50
$45-$65= 6.50
over $65= Free (USA and Canada)

Tracy is very nice (met her at conventions) and I have always gotten great service.

For my clear stamps I bought a package of graphix acetate and cut it into 1/2 sheets (I have the small binders). I taped the index sheet to the back of the acetate so I could see the printed index from the front. I then put a 1/2 sheet of white cardstock bechind the clear stamps so I can see what the image is and it keeps them from sticking to the next acrylic sheet. the layers are:

graphix acetate
clear stamp index acetate taped to back of graphix acetate
stamps stuck to index
white cardstock

Michaels sells packs of the graphix acetate in the artist section by the tracing lights and materials.

I mix my rubber and clear stamps in the binders and am not having any problems. I just make sure I have some sort of separator page between them. I've finished 50 binders and the second set of 50 should be delivered tomorrow. I've been using the white inserts from GinaK for the rubber stamps - she has great service and shipping is really fast.

Thanks Stamphappy =)
I certainly need to put something between the clear pages to keep
them from sticking.
I just placed the order for my binders from Univenture. Cant wait to have it all finished!

I was going to order the white A5 binders this weekend from univenture but they were not listed on their website. So I emailed the company and asked about the status of the white ones (#13323) and was told they have been discontinued

So upset that I didn't order any before they did this...I really wanted white over black. Guess I'll have to go with black as I don't want to pay $2 more for the clear.

for the price - that wouldn't be a problem for me (although I did purchase the white ones) once you put a sheet in both the front and the back of either the index or just decorative scrap paper....and down the spine....no black will be showing anymore!!

Hi ladies, I realize that this post is a little old. However, I am in the process of starting to reorganize my stamps. I was wondering, what you recommend, the 10x11 boxes or the A5 ones? I have lots of Unity stamps, and acrylic, and an unmounting some of my block stamps. This is entirely new to me, and thought I would get your suggestions on what is better in the box size and the EZ mount sheets.

I have these: http://www.univenture.com/shop/0.75_..._A5_binder.php

A5 size and no pages in them because I don't need them as the stamps cling to the actual binder. Mine have all my Unity in them and stamps fit perfectly on each side of the folder.

I can get several kits in each, depending on the size.

Hope that helps.

I have the A5 with inserts from GinaK. I tried a differnet solution with larger pages and I found that I wouldn't see stamps on a page because there were so many. I like having just a few stamps on a page.

Also, I categorize my stamps (birthdays, flowers - solid, flowers-daisy, etc.) and with the smaller binders I can have just one category per binder.

I've been using the system for a couple of weeks and I feel like it will work for how I look for stamps.

I stamped white cardstock with the images for my index. Clear stamps have the white cardstock behind their clear sheet so I can see the image.

I have several of the unity monthly kits, will an entire kit fit onto one side of the 5.5 x8.5? AlsoI have the Fancy Pants acrylic stamps (you know the 12x12 kits) will the large corner stamps fit on the 5.5x8.5 or should i just invest in the 8.5x11 panel size binders?

I don't have any of the Fancy Pants kits so I don't know what will fit and it depends on if using inserts. However, I would think that if you are using an insert and it is important to be able to put an entire set on 1 insert then a larger size would be better.
