I have seen images colored with these and they look great! I am itching to try them out. There are so many colors out there, which *one* set of colors would you recommend? I am thinking of getting the set of 24 (5 oz gms) colors since they are cheaper, but which one? Help please! TIA!
Hahaha! Sounds great! - I only need the $$$ for all of them. ;) Seriously though, I only *can* buy oone set...but...if they work out for me I see me buying all eventually.

They are definitely addictive! I would get the minis because when they say a little goes a long way they are right they last for soooooo long. The first set I got was the mini TW2451 it seemed to have a nice variety and I use it often but then you just have to have them all!!
I was able to but my singlely as my LSS had them in a bin and then she also has the packs of them. I chose colors that I will use alot, mostly the brights. I love these things! I just don't use them as much as I should !
I have heard sooo much about these but I had never new what they really were. Thankyou for the site I think now I might want some of these to try but I personally think i would go with the mini pots in the brights and the oyster colors to tone done the colors if the need arises. I understand $$$ can sometimes be what holds our creativity back right.=) well good luck with your decision ~~~bluegirl~~
I would probably go with a set that had medium to darker tones of your favorite colors. You can do a lot of variation in shading based on how much water you do or don't use. So I think with that in mind, darker tones would give you the most bang for your $. I have 3 sets and rarely find myself pulling out the really light colors.
I started with the richones like black cherry, ocean blue etc my ist set had 12 and like you wasn't for sure what else to get can't afford them all so I ordered 24 more mini pots. The best technique in case you haven't tried it is to emboss image in gold then H2O awsome enjoy this is my 1st time to write but good luck
