I love my big shot! I have a cuttlebug, but it rarely gets used now that I have the BS.
My go-to dies are the Top Note and Lattice dies from SU.
However, I have just started to use some of the Nestabilities and they are so easy to use!
I also use the polka dot embossing folder a lot.
I hope you enjoy your purchase as much as I do.

Lately I've been using the Spellbinders Nestabilities a lot. The circles and labels dies.

LOve it! thought long and hard about it...already had the cuttlebug, but once i got the big shot, the cuttlebug collected dust (til i pawned it off on someone else, lol) Love the top note die, embossing folders (all of them, lol), my alphabets, movers and shapers die and many more...get it, you won't regret it!

My favourite dies are the oval and the rectangular ones, I use these the most. The label dies come next.
As for the embossing folders, the polka dot one And the SU Square Lattice one's are great for backgrounds, there is so much out there that you will love using your big shot.
Have fun with it!

I love the Big Shot and everything it has to offer!! My favorite dies are nestie labels, they just look so cool, and the lacey ovals/circles etc. Embossing folders are wonderful too.
But as for useful dies, what are you going to be making with the BS? That would determine what dies/EF you would get the most use out of. Many companies are making their own dies that match stamp sets, so this is something you could look into. I hate cutting out small images, so having a die to match my stamp is really nice.
Good luck with the purchase, I know you will love it

I liked my Big Shot so much, I ended up selling it and my Cricut (which I never used) and bought the Big Shot Pro.
My dies that I use all the time are the Spellbinders, Papertrey, MFT, Memory Box, embossing folders, impression plates, embosslits and i just recently bought some Accucut dies too. LOVE my Big Shot!

Can anyone tell me what the largest size paper you can put through this Big Shot? Also, what is the difference between this big shot and the other more expensive one?

Or ---have a Stampin Up party over $400.00 and get your Big Shot at half price! Do not think you can beat that deal either!!! You can get any one item at half price for a workshop of that amount ---and for me --it would be the Big Shot!! I have a Cuttlebug and love, love, love it! But would still buy the Big Shot!

The regular Big Shot takes up to 6" wide paper. I believe the more expensive ones go wider.
