Talking tape

what do you guys find to be the best tape to use on cards. It seems I'm always buying little tape dispensers. I asked this question before and there was a large tape dispenser everyone liked and I cannot for the life of me remember the name of it.

The ATG! It is awesome. I bought mine from the Armel company. armelcompany.com. They have the best prices and service. I have been sending all my friends to them. They do not list the prices on the website, but you can just send an e-mail. I am very frugal with my $$ and do not regret one cent that I spent on this!

I don't use tape or dots - I use Zip Dry, clear adhesive. Works for everything.

Default tape

I use the atg gun and it is the best thing I ever bought....I can make 20-40 cards per roll using many layers and 1 roll is about 2.50.....36 yards....
well worth the investment....

I am no longer a tape user... I love using Tombow Mono Multi (a liquid) which holds super well, is easy to use and very economical!

I too have an ATG gun that I purchased from Gluebug.com. Their service and prices are great! The ATG is a great investment. I was spending way too much on mono adhesive and it never stayed together. The ATG does not come apart!

ATG = Adhesive Transfer Gun, it is by Scotch. They use it in framing departments to put the brown paper on the back of the frame. It is super. Well worth the money. I have had mine 3 months and love it.

I found an older thread that is very informative about the ATG gun, it is where I got my info before getting one. Someone even did the cost breakdown.

ATG Gun Thread

It will answer most questions about the gun. Good luck with the decision.

I just got a 714 model and love it. It looks like the roll of tape in it might last til I die. In other words..lots longer than tombro mono that costs so much more to purchase the refills for.
