Default Super Sticky Clear Stamps...

I store my clear stamps in CD cases.
I have a set of Clearly Wordsworth Clear Stamps, and they are really, really sticky.
It was hard to remove them from the clear case, but the outline - or the part you ink up - is sooooo sticky, that they actually stick to paper! I placed them face down to stamp off the excess ink, and the stamps ended up sticking to the paper!

Is this normal, is the stamp deteriorating, am I storing them wrong...any advise would be gratefully received

Try rubbing the surface of the stamps with a white eraser, or your jeans, or (very lightly!) with an emory board. This will rough up the surface, and should make them less sticky and better able to take ink (without getting stuck to your paper). I do this to a lot of my clear stamps, and it helps tremendously! HTH!

You could also try washing them with a gentle soap. There may be some of the processing chemicals still on the stamp that's making it sticky.
