Smile SU Blender

Hey ladies.....does anyone out there know who makes Stampin' Up Blenders? Or if you can get refill solution for them?

TIA

I got tired of purchasing them as they always seemed dried out when I'd go to use them. Years ago I saw a bottle of Dove Blender Pen refill and bought one. Have been using that when they dry out. You wouldn't even know I had used anything from the bottle so it will last a long time.

Also, Deb Valder, who is a SU Demo, posted her recipe she uses:

Blender Pen Solution
For a 1 ounce bottle fill…(Eyedropper bottle works best)
1/3 parts Glycerin (found in cake decorating section of craft store)
2/3 parts distilled water
 teaspoon alcohol
Remove pen tip (pull and twist gently and lay the tips flat overnight in fluid.
Fill the pen barrel with the solution.
Place pen tip back in hollow by pushing gently (do not push tip but glide it in holding on the sides).

If you don't want to make your own refill solution try Dove's blender refill.

I believe Dove makes the blender for SU. I've been using the recipe above to make my own refill fluid, and it works really well.

I never really thought about it...... All I've found it the 3 Blender pens.

I've always used the Dove Blender pens and refill it when it's needed.

I copied this from the SU website:

Combine the flexibility of watercolors with the convenience of markers. These dual-tipped pens are filled with specialized solution to blend ink easily. Use with Watercolor Paper or Shimmery White Cardstock and Classic Stampin' Ink. The tip cleans off with just a stroke or two on scrap paper, so you don't need a different pen for each color.

* 3 pens
* Flexible tip on each end
* Acid free
* Xylene free
* Nontoxic

So I would use the solution by Dove or make your own.

And as Scrapjanny stated I think she's correct.
