Default Storage of Unmounted Wheels

I am in the process of unmounting all of my wheels...both jumbo & regular.....and would like suggestions for storage. Also, how do you identify each of them?? I am thinking of having samples of each in a binder...with the name beside it.....but, do you identify each by writing the name of wheel on the EZ Mount side??? Thank you for any & all suggestions......

I only have a couple wheels and they were unmounted right away. I don't put EZ mount on any of my unmounted stamp. I use Aileen's TIO&O. I have all my stamps indexed and the images in binders. I also store all my stamps on acetate sheets in page protector in binders. The index lets me know which binder & page the stamp is stored so I don't mark anything on my stamps. I have read on here, however, that people have been writing with a Sharpie on the back of their unmounted wheels the name of the stamp, if that helps any...

I have unmounted my wheels and find I use them more now that they are easier to use. I don't use EZ mount on the back. I use a couple of small tabs of adhesive on the back that comes off easily when I take it off the block. I use a permanent black marker to write the name on the back of the rubber. For now, I store my unmounted wheels in a drawer within my Iris Cart system.
