Default Storage for Spellbinders & Sizzlets

I just got a Big Shot and so far I LOVE it - of course then I went onto eBay and won a few too many auctions! Any good storage ideas for Spellbinders Nesties? I only have 2 sets so far, but I could see myself getting some more. Also, any suggestions on Sizzlet storage while we're at it?

Thanks!
Amy

For Nesties I use the older style magnetic Quickutz folders, one folder for each shape or style. I love that when it's open I can see all the sizes at once. Each one can hold up to 8 sets depending on shape...my ovals one fits all 4 sets of each the Petite and Standard...but then like the Labels one only fits 5 sets...and then I use one for odds and ends like smaller spellbinder dies which I have just a few of.

I put magnet strips in CD cases and use those for the regular size nesties. The larger ones I put magnet strips on thin chipboard and store them in a 4x8 plastic container. Works great.

I like these DVD tins:

I can fit even the largest nesties in here and they're metal so magnets stick really easily. I can fit two or even three sets in each, depending on what size they are.

magnetic knife or tool bars- just put the bar up on the wall, and stick your Nesties to it. Very accessible, yet out of the way, and usually you have unused wall space in places you can't fit anything else (like on the wall where the door swings past to close!).

I agree with the Quickutz magnetic folder. I have even put a couple strips of magnetic tape on the piece that you can remove from the folder. I need to get a second folder to house those on there in. The reason I like it.. well it was pretty cheaply priced since I had a coupon I used it at Hobby Lobby.. and because when it's open I can see everything.. I don't have to hunt for anything.. and I'm a very visual person to see what I am looking for (eyesight issues)..

hope you find a way to store yours. oh.. oh the sizzlits.. I just leave them piled on my table.. just kidding. I do usually keep them laying there, but when I clean things up, I have a small foldable box that they fit perfectly in, I got it in the dollar spot at Target some time ago. I bought several extras, but haven't filled them yet.. the small cuttlebug ones fit in there too and the bosskut ones.

I use a Creative Memories photo box. I bought some extra plastic dividers and used my ATG tape gun to attach magnet sheets (have also used self adhesive magnet sheets). I can store two sets on each divider with some of the sets. I have been thrilled with the storage system.

I have a girlfriend that has most of the nesties and does something very similar to this. The nice thing is that it's small enough to transport easily. She gets her magnetic sheets at Hobby Lobby when they're on sale.

I had my Nesties stored in cd cases. The problem with that was they were always put away in a basket on the shelf. I read here about the magnetic strips and adhearing them to different things. I decided since I had a Bind it All machine, I would make a book. I cut up cereal boxes to the size I wanted and covered each page with a sheet of magnetic sheets I got at Wally World. The rest of the page I covered with decorater paper just to make them look a bit better. I bound the book and keep it on my table. I added a few extra pages for those sets I have yet to buy but know I will!! I love it because now I just flip through the book to see which Nesties I want to use! I'm using them more now that I have them stored this way.

For Sizzlits storage, I reccomend getting the Sizzlit die case. They often are on sale during Sizzix Tuesday Teasers, and you can get them at Joann's with a 40% off coupon. It will store 35 sizzlits

I bought 3 ring notebooks that zip all the way around. Then I got baseball card holders, 4 X 6 picture holders, and 5 X 7 picture holders. I put all my small dies in there, and then for the nestabillities, I cut white cardstock just a little smaller than 5 X 7, put magnetic strips on there, and then put them on that. This works really well for me...no chance of losing anything since the binders zip. I use them for everything except the bigger dies.

THIS is how I store my Nesties, Embossing Folders, and Sizzlets. This system works great!! Very transportable. I have all my Nesties in one large three ring notebook, and all of my embossing folders in another three ring notebook. Both still have TONS of room for expansion! Got the Zip N Flips at Ritz Camera. I bought some of the large and some of the medium, but really haven't used the medium's too much. The large ones work great for the Nesties and the embossing folders. Hope this helps!!
