You'll love Stickles. You may want to squirt a little on a scrap and apply with a toothpick until you find out how much flows out of your bottle (I find the openings can vary and you can end up with a clump sometimes.) Also, let it dry for awhile--preferably overnight.

Yes, I do believe you will like and use them. A lot.

Many, MANY of us do!

I sure love mine! KLF gives some good advice above.

I also like using it to jazz up brads: Squeeze a little out on scrap paper, gently compress the top of the brad into the stickles, let it dry and adhere it to the card.

Here is a card I made where I used the stickles on the brads (they were solid black before the stickles were added). I created it as part of a SWAP last year. It wouldn't post, so here is the link to the recipient's gallery, who liked the card enough to include it:

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...=0&thumbcheck=

Have fun with your stickles!!

I am sure you will. They add great sparkle. But yes, do let them dry before handling a card you've used them on.

OMG!! I LOVE them - in every delicious color!! I use them all the time - They're also great for "blinging" up Prima Flowers, you just dab on a bit on the petals and it gives them a great little sparkle!

Smile Thanks!

Oh, now I feel sooo much better about my purchase as I am trying to stay on my budget! Yet, I had a code for 1/2 off shipping and the Stickles were on sale too! So 8 bottles with s/h was only $23.90!

Thanks much for all the helpful tips and the card example! You guys rock!

I guess I am in the minority. Whenever I use Stickles, my glittery dots go flat. When I put the dot on the paper, I have a nice point which will round off but the next day the dot is flat. The glitter is still there but not the roundness. At one of the LSS I go to and take classes, the teachers love the Stickles but it is sure hard to take your project home without making a mess and end up with glittery fingers, arms, clothes, etc. I always hope none gets on the car upholstery.

Maybe I'll try putting it on the brads like the OP suggested. After it dries, the glitter dot will still be raised and round!

Stickles does flatten out. It is meant to spread out to cover flower petals and butterfly wings.
I don't know if there is a product that stays raised on cards, except my grandkids have cheap glitter glue in little tubes that stays sort of stiff and rubbery.

To OP... I suppose you will like them. I do and almost everyone else. But, you may want to use just small amounts so you don't spend all your gas money on Stickles.

I bought one a few months ago. The diamond color because it's clear. I'm not a sparkly kind of gal, but I thought every once in a while, it might be nice to add something with some bling to a card. The first day I tried to use it, I squeezed and nothing would come out. I figured I had a clog, so I tried to stick my piercing tool in the spigot to unclog it. The tool got stuck. While trying to get the tool out, the spigot thing came off the bottle. While trying to remove the spigot from the tool, it went flying across the room. It took until last week (about 5months) until I finally found that silly thing in the bottom of a box of ribbons. Gosh! Well, I cleaned it out and stuck it back on the bottle and it finally worked. It has a nice shine, but it did take overnight for it to dry before I could work with my image. I may use it again, but I doubt I will buy anymore colors. Again, not that they aren't nice, I'm just not into shiny stuff that much so this one is enough for me.

I love all the colours of Stickles - I have about 18 different bottles (and a few extras of some colours so that I never run out!). I LOVE Stickles. They add such nice sparkle to stuff. Have fun!

I LOVE! stickles. You will too as soon as you try them. I especially like the fact that they don't flatten out like some other glitter glues I have. I find I use them often.

love 'em, love'em, love 'em!! I'm not a sparkle/glitter kind of girl, but these add just the right touch. It's so much less messy than glitter, too--I never use my glitter anymore.

Oh, I love my Stickles too!

Thanks-- yeah, I was hoping he'd divorce Nicole and marry me, but then they went and had Sunday Rose and ruined all my plans... (lol, joking... mostly). Lucky you for getting to see him! I saw him last year here in Austin.. and had front row seats! Now I'm spoiled forever. Nothing but front row seats will ever do again!

That's Phil Vassar on your Avatar, right? His "Just Another Day in Paradise" is my ringtone on my cell phone. It's always fun running into other country fans.

So sorry for the hijack folks.. it's hard to not get carried away by Keith Urban.

Back to Stickles.......

yes... yes... get all the colors of Stickles. You'll be saving the environment not buying so much gas!

You will LOVE them (and the price of gas is falling, anyway). I bought one and gave it a try on a card. Loved it so much I ordered a bunch of them for my store (and I'll probably order even more)!!!

I love Stickles, and now I have heard Ranger is releasing distressed stickles to match Tim Holtz's distressed inks sometime in November. Check it out:
http://www.rangerink.com/products/pr...erstickles.htm

The site doesn't have the color swatches up yet, but I am excited all the same. I love the distress inks.

Just read how much everyone loves stickles. Bought some stickles and used it to decorate a Christmas tree on front of a card. It looks really nice. Now, what else can I use stickles for? Does anyone have any pictures to post so I can get an idea.

NanaKaren, I have no pictures to show, sorry but try to add a little sparkle to your not so pretty brads. I also used them to just highlight parts of stamped images, like parts of a butterfly. You can just put a dot in the center of a small Prima flower instead of a brad or jewel. The sky is really the limit

I love them but the dark colors seem to always clog. I just stick a thick needle in the hole to make it a bit larger. Also, I store Stickles in a box so they lay down and it has 2 benefits: 1) I can see the colors and 2) the glue starts flowing sooner from the side instead of the bottoms. I have a ton of colors and want more.

Also, if you put in on too heavy on velum, the velum will curl. I glue the velum down first and then put on the stickles.
