The Palette inks work better than Stazon if you like to use the oderless mineral spirits with Prismacolors. Since Stazon is solvent based, and OMS is a solvent, well, the Stazon just smears.
I like the Palette Noir better. It can be used much the same as Stazon, doesn't bleed, and it doesn't smell. I like the Stazon smell, but something tells me it can't be all that good to sniff solvent like that too much.
Another yes vote for Palette Noir. I use it primarily when stamping an image to color in. I find it dries faster as well when stamped on glossier surfaces.
Love my palette noir! Just make sure it's completely dry before you watercolor or, like any wet ink, it'll smear. If I'm in a hurry I'll usually run my heat gun over it to be sure.

Palette cleans off your stamps easier then staz on too. I don't use my staz on at all now, unless someone specifically asks for it on some images I stamp for them. Most are ok with palette, some just want staz on.

No opinion here .. I'm just THRILLED to read these positive responses for Palette Noir, since I just bought it in Ellen Hutson's store!! Whew, I'm so relieved!

Great!! Can you find the Palette Noir inkpad at Michael's or Hobby Lobby? I would hate to pay for shipping online if I can find it locally. I don't see any at my scrapbook store.

Another vote for Palette Noir.. I have both.. switched to Palette Hybrid Noir, because Stazon was smearing when I used Gamsol. I've also just discovered that Stazon is smearing with Copic markers.. Palette does not. Here is where I found Palette.. plus they have refills.
they do have a great brown....burnt umber. I love that color and tend to use it as much as I use the black. I also love their charcoal which I just bought. A bit of a softer black. I am loving the Palette line of inks!
There was a clearance sale on a bunch of Palette Hybrid inkpads at the local scrapbook store, I didn't buy any because I was specifically looking for BLACK. I don't know if it's worth getting other colors? I usually use the SU! Classic ink pads

Palette Noir is AWESOME! You can also get it here, they're wonderful! As far as local stores, I've searched high and wide, with no luck. You won't regret it.
I love my Palette Noir! I use it anytime I need black ink, I still use my StayzOn with dominos and tiles but other than that it's the Palette pads for me

Oh, get them Wendy! The thing I love about palette is that I can stamp in pink or blue or purple and color it - no smudges! I'm working on collecting all of the spots. I only have the noir in the full sized pad.
