Default Staz-on really does

Help......I have staz-on on my finger tips and nails. My hands look like Ive been working on my car engine...ewwwwwwwwww (mechanic nails)
What works to take this off without taking a layer of my skin off with it?
Thanks...

What is the difference between Staz-on and Classic Ink pad??? Dawn dish soap may help in getting it off your hands, unless you have sensitive skin then I wouldn't.

StazOn is a solvent ink pad. StazOn will not "bleed" when it gets wet by watercoloring, markers, etc.

Classic SU is a dye ink. It will "bleed" when wet. :-D

Default Staz-on

Thanks for your response. I will be sure to use staz on when coloring in stamps on my Christmas Cards. I have only just really started Stampin. Lots to learn yet.

If you have the powdered version of tide laundry detergent in the house try using that...it's very drying on the hands but i know it works well with dyes like purple gention (probably spelled wrong)

Wash your hair. When I have ink or paint stains on my hands, washing my hair seems to be the easiest, most gentle way to get my hands clean.

Try any type of oil. If you have some olive oil rub it into your finger tips and let it soak in a for a few minutes. Then use something abrasive like a salt or sugar scrub or some baking soda. It likely won't come out all right away but it should help.

A bit of alcohol on a cotton ball will work well too. Then wash your hands with some mild soap to keep the alcohol from drying your hands out. (Hairspray in an aerosol container will also work but it's a bit more messy... ya know?)

I keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in my stamp room. It takes Staz-on off your hands, worksurface, floor mat, etc.

I use this stuff to clean my hands after I'm done stamping... It's from dh's stash...It's called GoJo. He uses it all the time after he is done working on the car and truck. I've used it when I have Staz On ink and other inks on my hands and works great. You can find this stuff at an auto store...Auto Zone...Advanced Auto and I think also found in Wally Worlds auto dept.

Default staz-on

It's been a couple of days and it has faded but I would have been doomed if I had plans to go out that night because they really looked BAD!
Ill have to stop and buy some GoJo....
