Thumbs up staples clear paint cans

Okay I was in staples looking for something for the computer and passed by these cans. I was excited to find something pretty neat. I have been without the net for 6 months due to moving so I don't know if someone already posted these. I have not decorated them yet but just threw a piece of scrap paper in to show the difference.

They look like the Stampendous pails but taller. Cool! Thanks for sharing this. I'll have to check out our Staples here.

Found these at our Staples and picked up a few. Now.... what the heck do I do with them????? I do believe they're a bit taller than the Stampendous ones you can order on line. Has anyone altered one of these yet?? Ideas please! TIA

Default Clear paint cans

If anyone is looking for the clear small paint cans, Staples near me has them, up front near the pen aisle. They are a little taller than the quart can, and come with a little washer attached to snug under the lid to pop it open...they are very cute and i think are 3.99 each...

My Staples today had a couple of different sizes. I looked at them for a while, then aha! I realized these are what I've been reading about on splitcoast.
I didn't get any because I didn't really know what I would put in them... I can see how cute they would be decorated, but what to do after that? I think I'll go back tomorrow and just grab a few; I know I can always use them like gift bags.

I picked up one today! My staples only had one size, with lids of green, blue, or silver. I got the silver one. Can't decide what to do with it, though! I will have to go back and look at yours again! thanks for the heads up and the inspiration! Keri

How do you attach the paper on the inside? I use the sticky tape for decorating stuff, do you just have a seem on the back where you can see the tape?

I just put the paper inside and taped it on the inside. You can see the tape on the inside but I figured no one really looks on the inside to see how it was put together. I normally give my gifts to nonstampers so I know they don't try to figure it out!!! lol

Default clear paint cans

I do not know if anyone mentioned this yet but I was at Staples today and I found the small clear paint cans. They were on sale for $.90. They had ones with colored lids but they were still $2.50. I bought 5 of them but I am going back tomorrow to buy whatever they have left. They are so cute. They are only the liter ones I think. Whatever the smaller ones are.

I saw the colored ones at $2.50 so I passed. Wish I had seen the 90 cent ones!
