Default Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler

Has anyone else had trouble stamping something in Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler, mask the stamped image, and then sponge a background only to have the Cherry Cobbler bleed out onto the background. Do you have a solution to my [email protected]

I haven't heard anything specifically about Cherry Cobbler, no. What I do think generally is that a lot of reds seem to take longer drying. I know it's a pain, but I usually heat set reds before proceeding. Sorry, wish I had a better answer.

Thank you, I'll make a note to heat set it next time.

Does you stamp pad have a gold sheen? There is problem with some colors where once they have the sheen they don't dry without heat setting. SU isn't the only company with this problem.

I just checked the pad and yes it does have a bit of gold sheen. I will make a note on the lid to dry with a heat gun. Thanks for the information! Much appreciated.

I am wondering with the new stamp pads if the Cherry Cobbler will still get that gold sheen? I've got the older version & it has the sheen so had been thinking about getting the new style.

Yep, I already had SU replace my new foam pad and the new one is getting the sheen. I've decided I can live with it as I just have to remember to heat set.

Thanks for letting me know that the new pads will still do the sheen. At least this way I know what I can expect if I get the new pad.
