Hi anyone that could give me some advice on the new raspberry colored wizard die cutter I would be sooooooo grateful! I cannot get the plates to go through I even had new plates sent HELP!!! Is it me or the machine any recalls I am unaware of ,I tried to call spellbinders got voice mail five times. Please help. Leslie

There are no current recalls. How do you have your plates? It should be:

Bottom - white plate
Then magnetic spacer
then die, blade side up
then paper,
then white plate

Place against rollers (use your left hand to hold). Make sure your handle is on your right, and back (not forward) by you. Engage rollers with right hand (simply make them click a couple of times). Start cranking! When your plates get mid-way through, move your left hand to the other side of the Wizard to hold onto your plates as they exit the machine.

Once you get the hang of it, it is easy peasy! HTH!

I had a lot of trouble with my wizard that I got over the summer. The video on the website finally helped enough that I could get the thing to at least work consistently. Check that out. The trick for mine was the initial "engaging of the rollers". Believe me I sympathize with you, mine was a beast.
