sizzix vs big shot

I want to buy some sizzix dies on line and they are called Thick Cutz or Bigz and it's not clear if I can use them in my original Sizzix or if I have to have a Big Kick/Big Shot?

They won't work in your original Sizzix - I know 'cause I tried LOL!

I purchased the thick cuts online to use with my sizzix machine. Turns out they don't work with the Sizzix. I ended up buying a cuttlebug and it works!!!! (It was a good excuse to purchase the Cuttlebug
