Default Silver Encore Ink Pad

Is there any way to use the encore ink pads in Silver & Gold AND they don't run or smear after using them...is there something that needs to be applied after I am done using it? I really want to use these ink pads but not happy with how my cards look after they've smeared!

Thanks!
Allison

Could it be the cardstock type you're using that is stopping the ink from drying out?

Thought: Seems they're staying wet long enough to be able to make use of these inks by EMBOSSING over them.

Try embossing with same colour powders to get more intense effect too. At least they're not wasted then

I have them...and love them. They take a little longer to dry like a pigment ink, but they do eventually get there and look beautiful.

ETA: I just remembered one time I did have a problem and that was stamping with these inks on Avery labels....to wrap around Hershey Nuggets...it smeared when opening the pretty candies; could have been the paper though that was more of a "wet" paper and never allowed it to set/dry.

I love them!!!! You need to let them dry longer than other inks. If the paper is very smooth, they might not dry completely.
