Default Sewing machine?

What sewing machine do you use on your cards? I would like a small one that doesn't take up much space and have NO interest in using it to actually sew. Recommendations?

Watch on CraigsList or freecycle - they turn up there from time to time. You don't need one with lots of bells & whistles (buttonholers, etc.) for cards, so could use an older one that is more basic, thus cheaper. Estate sales & auctions are also good places to find them.

Another vote for the Janome Sew Mini. Hancock Fabrics.com has them on sale from time to time. Think I got mine for $35 a few years ago. LOVE mine.

I just purchased a Janome Sew Mini today. I held off for a long time, because I already have a Bernina sewing machine...nothing super fancy or anything, but a substantial machine. Anywho...I'm getting back into quilting and don't want to hurt my more expensive Bernina by sewing on paper extensively. It's also a lot heavier and takes up a larger 'footprint' than the sew mini. When I picked up the Sew Mini at Hancock today I was thrilled with the size and weight (very light!), so I caved. Good luck with your decision!
