Scallop circle on a cricut cartridge!
If you own the Mini Monograms Cricut cartridge you have scallop circles from 1"-5 1/2"!!!! This may seem like a no-brainer, but I searched hi and lo for the giga punch to no avail and by accident I saw the scallop on a cartridge that I already own! Had to share!

That's the whole reason I bought the Mini Monograms cartridge - Scalloped circles and squares! There aren't as many scallops as the punch, but it'll definitely do.

Great to know! I have that cartridge and was just about to order some of those scalloped punches . I already have the oval and one circle and love them.
I'll check it out and then decide if I NEED the punches as well.
THanks for the heads-up on this one!

I got the Mini Monograms for that very reason. I posted a couple of cards last week that I used the square and the circle. I got an email from Cricut tonight showing the new cartridges.. oh my a Disney font and a Disney shape, some other shapes such as Going Places, Alphalicious, Makin the Grade, Fabulous Finds, and a New Cricut machine.. yowzers! That is the main reason I am keeping Mini Monograms. For the scallop circle & square!! I already have the marvy giga & mega scalloped ovals. So with this cartridge I have all of them. Plus, on George you can make scalloped hearts!!

You gals are all great! Such fun info to have and I already own all the cartridges being mentioned for making scalloped backgrounds! Guess I should pay a little closer attention to what I have already. Time to go bond with those booklets - all 19 of them. (hee hee)

Hmmm, lets think this out ladies . . .
11 sizes of scallop, multiplied by 2 shapes = 22 different sizes and shapes.
If I were to buy 22 scallop punches at 19.95 a piece that would be about 439 dollars.
Therefore, the cricut is a great deal.

How much are the Cricut Expressions? Are they available to the general public yet? Wish they would have had that out at Christmas! Sandra

SO EXCITED to hear this as I have Mini Monograms
Just happend to think as I was reading this too that you could also use the *negative* of the scalloped shape for the front of a card if you didn't cut anys hapes right behind the scalloped shape...you could take your cardstock off the mat and score it into your card shape and have a scalloped open window on the front of a card w/a peekaboo image peeking through the scalloped opening from the inside of the card Clear as mud right?? LOL! Making note to try this.....

Grrrrrrr! Now I have to get the Mini Monograms and check my Doodlecharms. I got Doodlecharms and Opposites Attract as a Christmas present from DH and haven't had a chance to really check them out. I will check out the scalloped hearts. I did do the scalloped rectangles but haven't really used them for anything. If you could see how much I have cut out waiting to be used!!!!!!! Not enough time!

I think it will be cool but I am sticking to what I have for a LOOOONG time!
tfs about Doodlecharms...my gf has it but I don't. I just got Stamped and I love it. I was so indecisive about which cartridge I would purchase next and I finally settled on Stamped. Next I want some of the new cartridges that just came out.

I don't have Stamped yet. I've been on the fence about that one for awhile. I preordered two of the new carts this month and they should arrive today or tomorrow. I also preordered both Disney carts and they will arrive in March. Yippee!!
