Um, just play with it? It really is easy to use. The dies are magnetic and attach to the top of the tool, foam side down. Slip in some paper, press all the way down, until you feel it "give" a bit. Release and be amazed at the little die cut you just made! What color is it? Love the new lavendar ones!

I just bought one in Sept after trying it at archivers. Fell in love with this flower die. Noticed that Michaels does not carry the dies...but did buy a bunch online and also recently learned that a local store now sells them. I bought mine through QVC and got the lavendar one, binder, dies, etc.

I have the same one and love it. My suggestion is to punch out any words from your foam to make stamps with first before you add the foam used to cut card stock. I did Thanks, Happy Birthday, Hello, Best Wishes....and several more. I just adhered them to the rockers and now I have my sentiments ready to go. I love the blossom font!!!! Oh and with the rub ons, be careful when you rub the small words as sometimes bits of the word above or below come off on your project!! I want to know what people are using to adhere the die cuts to their projects......?????

I have had one for two years at first I loved it! Now I can't stand it BUT still use it all the time as it is useful just a pain in the rear. The dies have to be punched one by one which when spelling a long title sucks butt, sometimes they don't punch at all and you have to redo and wiggle die or turn it around etc, after about a year my handle became harder and harder to use it no longer pops up on it own I had to get a new one and this "new" one is doing the same thing now, the alpha sets are VERY expensive 169.99 and that is only one size 1 inch and sometimes that is to small (the new cricut is only $79 and has any size you want from 1 inch to 5.5 inches.) I am getting the new cricut for x-mas which means I will be selling all my abc sets of my quickutz and I will be looking for another machine that will still take my quickutz dies ( I really do like the quickutz shapes) but is more user friendly.

I just love my Quickutz for making cards & scrapbooking. The dies are so adorable. The new designs they've come out with are more creative & the dies make a little more sense now (not as much work). I like the unicase alphas b/c they are cheaper & look very mod. These quickutz are huge in my area & we get together just to do q quickutz night. The new tools are better as they have more leverage. The Quickutz website has a great gallery for review.

I use the Xyron 250 for my alphas. I run a 2 1/2 inch wide strip of my cardstock through the Xyron b4 I punch the letters. For the other designs, I run them through the Xyron after I put them together.
