Default Quickutz Epic 6 vs Big Shot ??!!

Hi all... I pre-ordered the Epic 6, and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival (July). In the meantime, I have been doing a lot of thinking, and am starting to go back on my decision to order it over the Big Shot.

The main reasons I ordered the Epic 6 over the Big Shot were because it supposedly comes with everything you need, so there is no need to buy additional plates or spacers (etc), as well as the price. It was cheaper than the Big Shot, especially once all the plates and extenders are purchased.

I was just wondering if anyone else has any views on this dilemma?

I have been thinking about ordering it too. I heard about the Epic yesterday at a crop and it sounds great. Also, there is something coming out around Christmas time that has something to do with 12 inch dies that goes along with the Epic 6. I already have the Big Shot so I am really debating on the Epic. The price is good, $70 as opposed to $90. I don't know...I am interested in what other people have to say.

Hi Jen,

Yes, apparently the Epic 12 is in the works. From what i understand, it will be its own stand alone machine, not an add-on for the Epic 6. I can only imagine how large it will be, to accommodate the 12 inch dies, but how cool will that be!?

As for now, I am still trying to figure out the Epic 6 vs Big Shot.

I don't really know anything about the Epic 6. I just wanted to let you know that I recently bought the BigShot Express (electric) and the only additional extender I needed was purchased for $9.99. The BigShot came with everything else.
