Thumbs up Purple Cow Ultimate Trimmer ~ 11 Blades!

Just received my Purple Cow Ultimate Trimmer with 11 different Click Blades. It was easy to learn how to use and to have so many choices for your blades is so much fun. Also has a movable side guide and double-click paper press which really holds the paper in place making for nice straight cuts! I am thrilled with this new trimmer(until my Genesis is made anyway!) The grid is also marked with commonly used measurements for scrapping and card making. Just had to share!

OK, I just gotta ask cos I haven't yet purchased my MM trimmer . . . does this Purple cows one measure a full 12" across (as in, you could cut a 12x12 paper down to 12x11.75 inches)? I found a link to the product's brochure, but it isn't clear to me....

And, does it cut perfectly and evenly straight from top to bottom? The bane of my crafting existence is paper trimmers that cut 1/16 or 1/32 an inch wider or narrower at the top than the bottom because the base isn't square to the cutting track. Any opinions there??

I have had my PC trimmer about two years...they promised back then that they were going to be making different blades for the rotary side, can't believe they finally did. Now I wonder if you can buy them seperately!

Mel,Yes it will cut 12 x12 paper. I have found the trimmer to cut straight...the moveable side guide is also a great help with this. Know what you mean about cutters not cutting straight! I could have a yard sale and just sell cutters! LOL

I just got the purple cow yesterday and used it for a bit this morning. I am having difficulty figuring out how to make smaller cuts. Like removing the edge from a 12X12 sheet that has the manufacturer border. What am I doing wrong?
