Pure WHITE glitter Cardstock..
I'm on the hunt for a pure white glitter cardstock with no pinkish or iridescent sheen. Anyone know where I can find that? The closest I found was a sheet in my 6x6 DCWV glitter mat stack (which is not sold in individuals sheets (I wrote them to ask). Thx in advance!

This is the only one that I have seen. No one seems to mention a pinkish or iridescent look.
Oh good grief, I tried adding the link but it was huge! So anyway it is on scrapbook.com, named Best Creation Inc White Glitter Cardstock. 12 x 12
Hope this helps
Christine

There was a typo in Susan's link so it didn't work, but she did have the right destination:
I find it highly amusing that everyone is recommending the exact same product from the exact same source, yet it takes multiple tries to get there! But then, I'm easily amused...

Before the pandemic, Walmart used to sell two 12x12 sheets of pure white 65lb glitter paper in a cello pack on a rack in their crafts/yarn department. (It also came in a great red, so-so green and lots of Santa's boots black.) I Wish I had stashed lots more!

This brought to mind a couple of things my daughters have sent over the years - they are talking about texting, but still kinda, sorta applies. Had to attach them, rather than embedding them here, as that function appears to still not be working...

I like the first one, Sue. It made me think of the personal dis-organiser in the Discworld books.
I think Sue's typo wasn't a typo per se, it was not overwriting the HTTP that is already in the box when you click on the globe and link icon. That's always easy to do, and unfortunately with the ongoing auto-formattong of links issue that is also the easiest, most reliable way of posting links. I spotted the thread because I could totally identify with the OP's quest. I had some nice real white glitter card once, and everything I've got ever since has been pinkish. I was really annoyed about one pack that showed proper white on the packaging but the contents were totally different.

Pure white glitter cardstock
Have you looked at Recollections brand? I have one sheet of white I used a portion of today. Now I’m wishing I had more. I think I purchased it from a Michael’s craft store in Branson. I didn’t notice any pinkish tone or iridescence, just white glitter paper. Good luck with your search.

I would love some white glitter c.s. with no colors in it, so thanks for asking the question! And thanks to all who posted where to find it!

Reporting back. I got the Scrapbook.com one...it is iridescent I can certainly use it but it isn't plain white glitter.

Mine is from Walmart as another poster mentioned...It was in the crafts department chaos at one of the larger stores in Wichita/Valley Center....I loved that it came in a cello package as I could return the pieces to the packaging and not worry about cross contamination......

Aw, Margot, sorry to hear that, but thanks for reporting back. Wonder what the deal is that it is so hard to get a plain white glitter piece of cardstock?

I hadn't thought about the difference in white glitter card stock until reading this, so I went and looked at the sheets I have. Yup, they are iridescent! I thought of them as pure white, and use them for snowflakes and snow. But when I put them up to the light, there are the colors. Now I'm curious to see if anyone makes pure white.

Thanks Shirl. I know. It is weird. We can get a plain white stickles-but they have a bunch of different white Iri's ...one leaning to blues, one to warms...the plain white does look drab.
I am ok with using Iri whites for snow and flakes but it would be nice to have the true white in some cases like if I want to do clothing piecing or something....or to be able to mix the two for inlay...

Ah, speaking of stickles, which colors are the the plain white?
Let's hope whoever or whatever company makes this glitter cardstock, is reading our posts!

I went and grabbed my sample board...ok lets see. They have a bunch of "whites"
Frosted lace is not iridescent. Neither is Sprinkled Sugar. Frosted Lace is more sparkly but really to me looks more like shimmer than glitter if that makes sense. it is the only one that is like that. Sugar is only a little bit-you have to work to see it moving it in the light. Out of bright light could look drab.
To me....Diamond and Unicorn are pretty much the same-multi color iridescent-Star Dust is almost the same except it has a smidge of blue to it also.
Crystal is super bling and has mint green and pink tones.
Icicle has a much bigger glitter flake than the others-and leans to pinks
Twinkle leans to a light purply blue.

I was sure you'd have swatches. Off the top of my head I'd have said Frosted Lace but I didn't want to stick my neck out. Stardust is my favourite, though - and Twinkle the least. Unicorn and Sugar I've never tried.

Thanks Margot! I have not heard of twinkle, unicorn or sugar, but do have the other ones. Just noticed the clear rock candy distress stickles looks pretty white but not real sparkly.....thanks, this got me to get it out to play with it.

LOL Sabrina. You know me well. 😁
I would guess Stardust may match the usual Iridescent white glitter papers well as they tend to have blues as well.
Sure Shirl-anytime. 😊
