Well, I have a problem printing anything on PTI paper because it is too thick for my printer. I'm pretty sure it's my printer that's the problem though, and not the paper.
My paper doesn't like PTI paper either.. Ironic, eh? Buy the templates from PTI, buy the paper, then my crappy printer doesn't feed the paper through..

Thanks for that. I think it's my printer too. I wonder what type printers they use. I have used my home printer as well as my office printer and neither one will take the paper.
Nichole uses a Canon...it was because of her recommendation that I purchased a Canon when in need of a replacement. The key is to use printers where the paper can feed through without having to bed over itself? Make sense? I've never had problems printing on PTI cardstock with it...Love it! It's a Canon MP620...the perfect printer for me as it's wireless too!!!
Another thing to do is to make sure you've adjusted your printing preferences so that it's not attempting to print on regular copy paper. I usually select Matte Photo Paper.
I was afraid my printer would choke on it, too, since it doesn't have a straight paper path and this is the thickest paper I have tried to send through it; but it worked great! My printer is a color laser Xerox Phaser 6280. I made business cards using the PTI paper which were much nicer than the thinner business card stock (pre-perfed) that you can buy.

Forgot to mention that this printer has a Heavy Card Stock setting and that's what I used.

I have an ANCIENT HP DeskJet 842C that is NOT a straight path printer, and it takes PTI paper just fine! Weird, huh? One of the reasons I don't want to get rid of my printer! It works on ANYTHING...I think it's around 8-9 years old and just keeps on ticking! Harder to find the cartridges now, but COSTCO does the cartridge refills for HPs, so I just do that.
I have an HP where the paper has to bend around to print, and it works fine almost always on PTI paper. Except for Rustic Cream and Kraft. I know that they are all technically the same "weight," but these 2 colors seem to be thicker in my experience, and hardly ever go through my printer.
My HP works, now. I had to change the paper setting to Matte Greeting Card. But even my PTI Kraft went through just fine. No problems! Mine is a front feeder, so the paper does have to bend to go through. It is the HP Photosmart C4680.
I had previously been unable to get my HP printer to even print on SU cardstock, which is a bit thinner than PTI, I think. But I read somewhere on SCS a few days ago that it helps to stack your cardstock on top of some regular paper in the printer feed tray, so it's up a bit higher. I tried it and I was able to print on some Berry Sorbet cardstock yesterday! I haven't tried the PTI white, and I'm a little wary of doing so because it's so darn thick - I'm afraid it might actually break my poor old printer!
