Question PTI Everyday Button Bits and Buttons

You who have the Everyday Button Bits stamp set from PTI--do you like it? I'm trying to decide whether I "need" it!! Also, you who have the PTI buttons would they blend well with SU colors? Thanks

I have it, but haven't used it yet. Seems like it would have so many possibilities! The buttons on the other hand, I use all the time. They blend very well with SU colors. Each bag has a variety of hues of that color, so they really go with much more than just that specific PTI color. I'm going to try to ink up the stamp set this weekend.

I have my eye on this set too. I will order it when the Rasberry Suite set that is sold out comes back in stock.

It's a fun set to work with. I've used it without buttons, too. I replaced the buttons with a punched out circle instead--worked just fine. Here's an example on my blog.

Cute card, Lori. I also looked at some of your other cards on your blog. You have some very nice cards--I saw one you made for your mother. It was so pretty.

I don't have this set, but I just ordered the holiday button stamp set which I absolutely love! I do use the buttons with stampin up colors and do find that the buttons match with stampin up as well as a lot of other papers.

How do you attach the buttons to the card? Do you always sew them on? or do you thread them and glue them on? etc.

I LOVE the button sets!! I use a little dab of super glue (gel) to adhere the buttons. Works GREAT, and I don't have to worry about them ever falling off.

I have this set and LOVE it! I love at how it is so unique and different than an ordinary stamp set. I couldn't afford the Holiday button and bits this month but I will add it to my order next time. I would imagine that they would probably compliment SU's cardstock. Wouldn't perfectly match it but would probably go nice together! Even if you decide you don't want to get PTI's buttons you could always use a circle punch and cut out SU's cardstock instead. It's such a versatile set!

I just ordered this set yesterday -- I'm really looking forward to playing with it. By the time I ordered, the new button sampler was already out of stock, but I added the white and cream assortment, along with the Rustic Cream Button Twine.

I usually use glue dots of some sort. Sometimes I use twine to dress them up but not usually to hold it down.

i love the everyday button bits set.......i sometimes substitute cardstock circles as well, using three at once it is really dimensional...here's one on my blog

http://mugsycreates.blogspot.com/200...challenge.html

i get my buttons at hobby lobby or hancock fabrics or use ones i have had for years and years.

i really, really want the christmas set, but i dont know if i can justify it...i have a tub of christmas stamps already !! i did get the pti christmas signature set....LOVE that one too

I've used it several times. I have to say that the bicycle is WAY cute - and it stamps beautifully.
I use glue dots or a little piece of ScorTape to adhere the buttons.

I have this set and really like it. I have used the sentiments a lot on projects that don't necessarily use the images from the set. I have yet to use buttons with this set. Instead, I have used circle punches. Since I mail all my cards, I have to consider the bulkiness of buttons.
