Default Silhouette eraser tool

what am I doing wrong? When I try to erase, it leaves and outline of the eraser tool. It wasn't doing this earlier....did I push a wrong button?

You might try looking at the dialog box to the right when you have the eraser tool open. It might have something to do with whether it is set to outline or solid. Click on each one separately and try erasing. See if it makes any difference.

It was early in the morning and only half way thru my first cup. I know better than to play with that thing until I know my name!
