I would like to teach a class on altering notepads here and I need to find about 75 notepads. Can anybody recommend a place to get them other than Papertrey Ink? I'm looking for a cheaper alternative since the class I'm teaching is a community outreach and will not generate income to pay for supplies. I'm looking for 2.5" x 8" or something similar (as long as it's narrow). Thanks!

Have you tried looking in the dollar section at Michael's? I find a bunch of those kind of pads when they switch out the stuff in those bins (mine just did a swap recently).
Good luck!

You can buy Jr. legal pads in bulk at Staples or Office Depot. Then take them to a Kinkos or other print shop and have them cut in half lengthwise. I did this when I made notepads for a craft fair.
The print shop will charge you for the cuts, usually about $1 each.
