Inkadinkadoo Stamping Gear
I just picked up the deluxe Stamping Gear kit at Pat Catan's for 19.99 (24.99 - my 5.00 coupon.) Has anybody tried these yet? Can't wait to start playing!

I recieved mine in the mail just the other day. Sadly, I haven't had a chance to play yet. I did check it out when I opened it, but didn't actually stamp. I found that the cling foam stamps (not from the kit) don't stick as well as I think they should. I am wondering if they won't cling to the end of the stamp session. My acrylic ones cling beautifully though. The cling foam stamps that come in the kit feel extra sticky so I'm sure they'll do just fine.

Let me know how you like it.

my cling stamps cling nicely, however, using the wheels and cogs are a little learning curve for me. I don't get the spacing right for some reason, some come out nice but others are not evenly spaced and spaced the same between. Need practice!

I keep "avoiding" the whole display at M's! LOL

I've used mine and I like it and I can see lots of possibilities. I have a learning curve moving the stamp around the cog, but I think practice will take care of that. I really like the stamp set images, too :)

I received it for my birthday last week. Here is what I have created so far:

Darn you Allee! I thought I could live without this crafting item but your examples are really striking so.......

I finally got a chance to try the Stamping Gear. I really like, it, perfect for making your own patterned papers! I was really impresses at how the gears and cogs don't move while you're working with them. I thought that would be an issue but the foam on the bottom keeps it in place.
Here's my review (w/ 4 projects I made with it):

Wow, Ladies, these cards are gorgeous! You both ought to get commissions.

Do I need another tool?

I got this with a coupon, but haven't played with it yet. One of the things I will be doing though, besides using the stamps that come with it, is using my clear acrylic stamps on the handle to make patterns of words (like Happy Birthday, Love, Congratulations, etc.).

I'll also play with other things that lend themselves well to repetition, like snowflakes, little characters, candles, etc. That's what really sold me on the product -- the fact that not only do they have nice designs, but I could also use any cling-y stamp I already own.

Now I just need the time to put these ideas into action! Arghh!
