Default Gemini Jr and spellbinders dies

I am very happy with my Gemini Jr these days. I have not tried any spellbinders dies in it yet, though, so before I go ahead and cause my self needless frustration, lol, .......can anyone weigh in on what sandwich you used and do I need to use release paper as well?

Thanks for any help you can suggest!

They work like any thin dies so I just use the sandwich that’s in the manual. And you made me realize that the release paper used fairly frequently in my Cuttlebug hasn’t been used at all in my Gemini Junior.

I use all dies in my Gemini Jr - never a problem. Depending on cardstock though, I sometimes need an extra shim but that depends on the weight of the cardstock not the die itself.
