Eclipse Tape/Judikins - Has anyone used?

Has anyone used this on their recently unmounted SU stamps? I was curious if this is the equivlant to EZ mount. Looks like it would be a good product.

Eclipse Tape is used for masking or repositionable stickers.

It's just like a post it note except the sticky stuff is all over instead of just on one end. I use it and love it.

I love Eclipse tape! It makes the most awesome masks! Way better than a post it note!
And you get a HUGE amount on just one roll! WOW!
A definite must have good buy!

I love it also and use it a lot. One thing to note is that it can leave a sticky residue depending on the paper. When I remove the tape, I run my finger over the paper that was beneth the Eclipse tape. If there is any residue, I can feel it and I just use a white eraser to get it off. If you don't remove the residue it show as a darker color when you color it in.

This is a rather old conversation, so I hope someone will pick it up. I just heard about Eclipse tape when watching Beate do recent tutorials. I am wondering about masking. I have just used paper with temporary adhesive on the back to mask, but I have two problems with this. Consider this scenario: I have stamped a flower. I then put a mask over the flower and stamp a second flower so that it looks like it is behind the first, which means the second stamp is half on the mask and half off the mask. Does Eclipse tape help with either of these two problems:

1. The mask will get ink soaked and bleed through after after not too many times of stamping on it.
2. The second flower doesn't stamp all the way up to the mask. It will leave 1/6 inch or so of white between the two stamped images, which is very noticeable with solid stamp images.

Eclipse tape will solve problem #1. For problem #2 you need to cut your mask inside the stamped image to resolve the 'halo' problem. HTH

Same advice I was going to give - perfect!

I've been using Eclipse tape for several years and it's well worth the money. Much better than post-its.

I think I need some Eclipse tape. So, Michelle Zindorf uses post it notes all the time. (They aren't cheap either.) Do you use the Eclipse tape for her techniques?

How long will an eclipse tape mask last? Can I save a mask to use next month for the same card?

I don't how long they last because I'm still using the ones I make. I use them over and over. Some have been used at least 20 times and they are still sticky. They look awful with all the stamping on them but they still work just fine.
