Digital programs?

Hello!

I have had quite a few requests recently to make digital looking cards/wedding invites etc. I am not very good at this, but would like to learn. We have photoshop elements but I find it so confusing. Is there a simpler program out there to use? Something like Memory Mixer etc?

Thanks

I use Photoshop, but when I'm lazy and just want to do it quick and easy, I use Memory Mixer :)

I use Paintshop Pro and Photoshop CS, but there are other programs that are very easy to use. My only caution would be that if they are simpler to use, then they would also be limited in the features they offer. Photoshop Elements is a very good program and there are thousands of free tutorials on the internet for it. A couple good places to get tutorials is scrapbook-bytes.com and digitalscrapbookplace.com. They have free and pay for tutorials. These are the sites that I learned to use my programs and then went on to designing digital scrapbook kits.

Picassa is a free one, but IMO I got frustrated with the limited options it has. IMO, I love my Elements. Yes, there is a learning curve, but it has the best bang for the buck in terms of capabilities.
