Default Cuttlebug/Tim Holtz small bird cage question

I'm trying to cut out the small bird cage using my Cuttlebug. It seems like no combination of plates is working. The only one that almost works is B, B, paper, die cut, C; but it won't go through my machine all the way I don't want to break any plates. Anyone out there solve the problem? I really need it for a card I'm delivering at lunch today. Luckily I took a class the other night that had the die cut, but it's on another card. If I have to, I'll pull it and then remake the other card once I get this figured out. TFYH.

Thanks Kathy. I did try the two "B" plates, but not with the extra "shims". I'll go try that now.

It took two pieces of cardboard backing from a paper pad, the embossing rubber pad, and one embossing folder to create enough thickness for it to work. Thanks again for your help, now I don't have to mess up a completed card.

The "proper" way to use the minis is in a Movers & Shapers die sandwiched between the B plates. I use my tag die: Sizzix.com - Sizzix Movers & Shapers L Die - Tag & Bookplates
