Cutterpillar paper cutter
Has anyone bought/used the new Cutterpillar? 'Oh My Craft' keeps sending emails regarding a sale on this paper cutter. There is a Version 3 in the time OMC has been promoting it. Just want to know if anyone has used this cutter and any comments pro or con.

I haven't tried it, but a search in the SCS forums for "Cutterpede" turned up this fairly recent thread that might help you:

Thank you. Like the OP I have a large Tonic that I am happy with. Just wanted to know more about it since 'Oh My Craft' keeps sending emails because these cutters are on sale. Not really looking to buy a new cutter.

I do remember when it first came out, there was a lot of buzz about it. They had a Facebook page with daily promotions and discounts.

Some of the people that got the first ones were disappointed, like sometimes happens with a new product before they really get the kinks out.

There were complaints of the cutter not cutting true to measurements. Not bad, but 1/8 - 1/16 makes a lot of difference to us fussy cardmakers, lol.

I think they have improved it, and I have seen comments from those who have more recent models. They compare it favorably to the Genesis, the Cadillac of paper cutters.

You might do a google search of cutterpillar paper cutter reviews and see what people think of it now.

Thanks Bugga-

The one OMC is advertising now is labeled Version 3 so I guess the makers are heeding the complaints and making improvements. Of course, the 'selling' video makes the product look like the next big/must have item.
