Cricut Ideas, Input, help

Hi everyone!!

I have a cricut that I am justing really starting to use. I like it and would appreciate any tips, easy ideas and help!! I would like some input on working with vinyl for home decor projects!! I saw at hobby lobby had those big plates.(I think they call them chargers??? They come in a few neutral colors and they are made from heavy plastic. I think these could be use to go under a plate or just on the table as a place mat. I hope ya"ll know what I am talking about) I am new here and would appreciate any help!! I think it would be nice to work on this project. I just want to make some nice home decor stuff. I like to cook also. Recipe book or recipe card ideas would be great too!!! Thanks!!

You would need to get a deep cut blade to use with vinyl etc. Try the cricut website and youtube also has wonderful videos on everything cricut. I am not as brave as you and have only used it for cardstock and paper so far. There should be a cricut forum somewhere on this site too. Have fun!
