C plate purchase?
Where can I purchase a cuttlebug "C" plate? Several on line companies are out of stock as are Michael's and Hobby Lobby. Mine broke in half and is difficult to use as you can imagine!

I ordered one from Gina K designs.

Joann.com has them, but you have to search for Cuttlebug Thin Die Adapter/Cutting Pad.

I find the same problem in searching for that bugger, too. I have been wanting to replace mine, but haven't had the urgency to do so yet. Thanks for starting this thread.

I got one from 7kidscollegefund.com just last month.

Thank all of you for taking time to respond to my request but, Gina K, 7kids, and Joanne's all say, "out of stock" I am getting a little frustrated.

You might try here:

It looks to be in stock, I was able to put one in my shopping cart.

jmscoping 06-10-2010 05:21 PM

stupid question - what's it used for?

Sara K 06-11-2010 06:47 AM

The "C" plate is used with thin dies, such as Nestabilities, in the Cuttlebug roller machine.

I broke mine a couple of days ago and also cannot find one in stock anywhere and the LSS told me they were on backorder from Provocraft. I am in Canada and tried a several online stores as well with no luck. I cannot believe they are so hard to come by!

Sheena74 06-11-2010 08:15 AM

I am soo glad I get extra's on every plate.

kellybee 06-11-2010 08:39 AM

send an email to 7kids...she'll order it and get it out to you ASAP. (I've done this myself!)

Try Gorilla glue......

Marilyn: I had the same frustration about a year or so ago. I was so frustrated and annoyed that the C plates are so difficult to find. I ended up going to our local glass company and had them cut the thickness and size I needed from plexiglass. The only drawback is the sharp corners, but it was a heckuva lot cheaper than the $10 cost of the C plate which is virtually impossible to locate! For the life of me, I cannot understand why Provocraft would create a product that the supplies are not readily available to those who purchase them.

I don't understand why they can't make these plates (B & C) out of a more durable, unbreakable material. I guess part of business is making sure we buy "replacement" pieces.
