I like Distress Ink Spays, but I LOVE Distress Oxide Sprays. I've used them on virtually every kind of paper except metallic, and I like the results on all. I often make my own wrapping paper with white tissue using stencils and Oxide sprays, and I love the results. I triple the layers of white tissue, spray with oxides over stencils, let dry and then spray lightly with water just like you'd do with Oxides on any paper. I have also used Oxide sprays on 110lb coated and uncoated card stock, and on light card stock and even ordinary copy paper. It depends on what I want to use the paper for. With ordinary copy payer and light weight card stock, I"m attaching it to heavier weight material. But even when I do attach lighter paper to card stock, I love the lines and crinkles. I don't like the crinkly results as much with regular Distress Spray. On heavier weight material, I alsol love the tonal qualities of Oxide sprays.
Thanks for the suggestion above to usie Oxide and Distress sprays together. Can't wait to try that.
