Aqua Painter and Gamsol
Have any of you experienced Prisma pencil coloring gurus tried Gamsol in an Aqua Painter rather than using a blending stumps? I'm extremely new to this coloring technique and just wondering if it would be easier or if it's a completely terrible idea!

Thanks for any help.

Haven't tried it and probably won't. I'm afraid the Gamsol wil cause the little rubber gasket inside the aquapainter to deteriorate. Also, the technique with the paper stumps works best if the stump is just kind of damp, not dripping wet; and part of what makes it work is the pressure from the stump moving the colored pencil around. I don't think that an aquapainter would give enough pressure to move the color.

Thanks Cheryl; I'll keep practicing with my blending stump.

This sounds interesting. I never thought to use a brush with the oms. I think I'll have to try this to see if it gives it more a watercolour look to it. I love the watercolour look but I suck at painting...
