Anyone use Caran D'Ache Neocolor II Watersoluble Crayons

Just wondering if anyone used these to color stamps and if they liked them.

What technique do you use? Do you use them like SU WCC, I use a aqua painter and touch the tip to the crayon and then paint. Would I use the neocolors the same way?

I have a bunch of these when I used to watercolor my stamped images more than anything else. They are awesome crayons, brilliant, highly pigmented. I used to like coloring directly onto a solid stamp, then misting lightly before stamping for an awesome watercolor effect. The only thing I didn't like about them, and the major reason I rarely used them, is the colors are too bright, too intense. I prefer softer, more subtle colors and I had a hard time achieving that with these crayons. But I suppose it can be done by scribbling a little color onto a 'palette' and picking up just a tiny bit of color with a wet brush. HTH.

I do. I love mine, no wimpy washed out colors, they are vibrant!

I have some I picked up on FreeCycle. Vibrant colours for sure. I've used mine to apply colour directly to paper and then moved it around with a wet brush, and also the way you describe.
