Anybody use Aileene's Tack it

I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has used Ailene's Tack It Over and Over for unmounted stamps. If so, how did it work. I know that it could be quite costly to use if you were going to unmount a bunch, but I was wondering if it worked okay to use them on just a few? Please let me know what you think!

I have used it on some unmounted rubber stamps and like it fine. I used one of those cheap foam craft brushes to apply it.

I love it!

I bought one bottle thinking it was a start! I applied it with a small paint brush and only used a thin coat (as long as it appears white when first applied, that's enough!).

I used it on about 900 stamps (including 4 alphabet sets) and I've still got about an inch left in the bottle! I think it's wonderful, I've followed the directions on the bottle and it works great!

I went down to bare rubber and I haven't had any trouble getting them to stick to the acrylic blocks.

I did use googone to clean up the paint brush (let it soak about 5 minutes) and the container I squeezed the glue into for easier application.

(I had left foam on some of my stamps, then ended up stripping it off eventually, because I like bare rubber better - your choice!)

I use it and love it, i have done it the way others have mentioned, i peel the rubber/foam off the block and the sticker too, I put the sticker on the foam and I put Tack it over and over on the sticker, it works like a charm...

I use Aleene's tack it over and over. I use empty cd cases to house my ums. I have over 150 of them..filled w/ ums. I like the way they take up a small amount of room inside wooden CD holders. I got them at Wal-Mart. :) Cyndi

When I started UMing my stamps, I used this and hated it. I put on a very thin film and most of the foam tore off of my stamps if they went unused for a while (tore off when I tried to remove them from storage). Many people love it though. I recently went to Tack'n'Peel and already love it better since it mounts to the block and not the stamps themselves, saves a step.

I've started to UM some of my retired sets that I don't plan on selling. I like it a lot. I think it works best if the foam is removed, but I've never tried it with the foam left on. The trick to removing the stamp from the block is to microwave it for about 7 seconds. This heats up the adhesive and makes it easier to remove.
