Default printer for printing digital papers?

I love so many of the digital papers out there, but don't currently have a color printer. Anyone have recommendations for good printers for printing out digital scrapbooking papers? Also, what type of paper do you print these on? Thanks!!!

I personally like Epson, but any photo printer should work fine. I print on a lot of things LOL, but you will get the best image quality and brightness if you use photo paper (matte not glossy). You can usually print on cardstock but it is very muted as the ink tends to soak into the paper rather than laying on top like it does with a photo paper. Most printers are designed to work best with their own brand of paper. For heavy paper you should make sure your printer loads from the back, not the front (it will load heavy cardstock much easier).
