I think the Canons are a good choice. I have an older model - MP560 - and I can run 200# cardstock through it in the back tray. This is heavy cardstock I use for boxes for heavy items and I haven't had any problems whatsoever with jamming on any type of cardstock I've put through it. I even run a CIS on it and that cuts my ink costs way down.
