Pretties beads on ribbon

Is the hole in the beads in the pretties kit larger than holes you find on regular beads. I like beads on the blue ribbon on page 77 and on green ribbon on page 49 of the current catalog.
Is it difficult to get the beads on the ribbon?

I also forgot to ask if that flatter clear bead is in the pretties kit? I didn't see it described in the catalog.
