A Little Birdie Told Me Plastic for shaker postcard

I’m trying to find a thick plastic that doesn’t bend, yet is thin enough to sew through to make shaker postcards. I’ve tried report covers, acetate, etc...all are too flimsy. Any ideas?

Default Shaker plastic

Do you have a personal laminator (or know someone who does)? Run an empty 3mil pouch through it. I have not tried to sew through it.

I would not recommend sewing through an acetate that is thick enough to not bend.  I use a pretty common craft-use weight acetate, from SU!, Michael's, etc.  To avoid the finished project being "floppy" I use fairly thick card stock (or recycle old Christmas cards, which is how I first started on this particular craft.)

Excellent suggestion!  I tried it this morning and it’s perfect and sewable, too!
I knew that laminator would be useful someday...lol!  Thank you!
