Default Paper used in 3D art

I happened upon this artist who apparently uses Bazill paper because it comes in so many colors and makes amazing 3D art installations. Just thought I'd share. Maybe some inspiration for somebody?

Here is an interview and some of his work. More Here with more closeups. It sort of reminds me of stained glass windows. Enjoy!

I noticed the captions say the pieces are handcut. Does that mean with scissors? Lawsy! The time that must take and the cramps it must cause!
