Default The Paper Company's Mulberry Paper

Specifically, I'm looking for their double-sided aqua/dark aqua mulberry cardstock. It's gorgeous, and I have only one sheet left. I don't want to use it because - and I know that many of you will understand this - it inspires me. The colors are so gorgeous that I love to just look at it sometimes.

Anyway, I can't find it anywhere online. Does anyone know where I can buy it? Thanks!

Is the Paper Co still active? Is this a discontinued color? Can they tell you who they sold it to?

I've tried emailing them, but my email was returned with a message that said that my email was being blocked.  I have no idea why, but it's very puzzling.

I’ve seen traditional mulberry paper and 8.5x11 packs that are text weight but not cardstock. Have you tried this company? Second link has a pack of blues. The first link has a mixed pack on the first page with some aquas.

The Paper Company's phone numbers are listed on their site.

Thanks for the links! They aren't the exact ones I'm looking for, but I will certainly take a look around. Some of those papers are gorgeous. Thanks again.

bjeans you are one of the very few on this board that can get me to look at something and I get enabled, lol. I love mulberry paper. That store's paper is stunning.

That marbled mulberry paper is to die for.

This selection has an aqua one : http://www.invitationfactory.com/pap...erry_cardstock

Though that site's "news and events" page errors out...

I’d seen that too - and got excited about the two-tone aqua! - but lots of pages give 404 errors: Contact Us, Order Samples, About Us, etc. Since it’s not a secure site I looked for a phone number, since occasionally I’ll place orders by phone with a legit company with an unsecured site.

BTW, the paper is very thin - 30 gsm, which I’d guess is almost like a heavy duty tissue paper.I wonder if it would still cut well for die cutting, perhaps first adhered to another sheet of paper?
Marbled Mulberry Momi Paper Pack in Cool Blue Colors (12 Sheets of 8.5" x 11" Paper)

I’m falling in love with some of their heavy papers, like this one:
Thai Heavy Embossed Mulberry Paper - FICUS LEAVES
And some of their paper packs:

A local art supply store sells mulberry paper in large sheets and I still have some that looks like wonky squares with strings hanging off the edge. But I’m not going to stores at all - high risk.

@AussieJenny, I've been to that site, and I had the same problems. Thanks for your help, though!

bjeans for light mulberry paper- I was watching a video the other day. The lady I was watching she backs her specialty paper on to cardstock and then cuts it out with her die cut machine. She used a glue stick.

I wonder if Heat & Bond would work for thinner papers. You could layer mulberry paper on a double sided adhesive sheet.

The ficus leave paper is gorgeous you shared. I am so enabled, ROFL!

I love mulberry paper. It is so divine. Crossing fingers it makes a comeback. I love unique paper.

I don't blame you. I am not going to non-essential stores either. Least it gives us a chance to find cool new online stores and give them lots of love.

Thinking about this, and looking at all the gorgeous mulberry papers out there, has inspired me to dig out my paper making kit and make some hand-made papers. I have lots of scraps, and a paper shredder, and a blender that hasn't gotten a lot of love lately. Hmmmmm.

I'm such a sucker for handmade paper and this one is so pretty I bookmarked this site. I still have some similar papers from back in the day, including a roll of beautiful red mulberry. I think it might be time to play "what's old is new again."

What projects are you all doing with mulberry paper? I think I have some sheets still lurking in the bottom of a drawer. That was one thing I thought about reviving this year but I haven't pulled it out yet.

I'm planning to use it to cover hand-made art journals and to make some very special cards.

It tears beautifully (which is to say, irregularly), so it can be very pretty on a background, especially if you make origami that are flat, like the shirt that's so popular. Dies don't really like it, so as someone mentioned earlier in this thread, I back mine with light cardstock before cutting. That said, you can imagine what beautiful die-cut flowers and leaves this stuff makes.

I have several packages of mulberry paper (sorry, not the cardstock). Would love to see new ideas on using it.
