Default New SU trimmer

Thinking of ordering it and wondering if there is some feedback on it. I need to complete my hostess dollars.

My demo at her monthly workshop this month said it's still a quality control issue that they're working on. No clue as to when it will be finally available.
She also mentioned that SU is examining the possibility that their white and vanilla cs are part of the problem with the black ink smearing and not just the ink itself.

Sadly, the trimmer has yet to arrive. As of August 23, we were told that "It's on its way."

bumping to see how the consultants are liking it. I am in the market for a new trimmer and it looks so intriguing. But I don't want to spend money on yet another trimmer without feedback on it.

Love it or hate it, please post your thoughts on it.

Default SU Trimmer

I got mine and love it. It actually lets you cut a full 12". There is room at top and borrom of trimmer for scoring blade so you don't have to keep taking the blades out.

That would be a cool feature. I still use my trusty trimmer that SU formerly sold, made by Fiskars. I just wish the little blades would last longer.

I love mine as well. I also love that not only does it do a full 12x12 piece while you have your scoring AND your cutting blade in... but it also can pretty much deal with those 12x12 sheets of cardstock that have the extra 1/2"-1" of paper along one edge that has the manufacturer's name or paper line name.

I think it cuts great (in fact I cut my finger on the blade while filming my video review of the trimmer... so watch out, it is sharp!) and I love the storage compartment on the back. Oh and my favorite feature is that I don't have to pull out the extra measuring arm to cut 5 1/2" for card bases. yay!

Saw the trimmer on FB and wondering about the blades and how often they need to be replaced, and cost for that? Looking for another trimmer to take when I teach card classes.

I *love* mine! I love it that I can finally cut card stock and 5 1/2" without guessing. We don't know how how long the blades will last, but I know that the Stampin' Up! people worked hard on getting more durable cutting blades than the Fiskars ones; I know that I have used by new trimmer quite a bit already, and I haven't seen any deterioration in the quality of cuts. Hope this helps!

The blades aren't available yet but they said they should be in December and that you shouldn't need any by then so I'm assuming they are pretty durable or at least I hope Not sure of the cost since they don't have them yet.

I really do like the new one though!

I am so glad they helped!!! I tried to take as many pictures as I could to show the trimmer. I have enjoyed using it so far. I have never had a trimmer that has a blade and a score blade on the same track, I have found that to be helpful.
