Default Nestabilities

Are Spellbinders Wizard Nestabilities compatible with Cuttlebug? Do you know what kind of quality I can expect using nestabilities with the Cuttlebug? Thanks so much. Donna

Wink compatibility issues

Sadly, the nesties are a perfect fit with the CB! I say sadly because if you listen very carefully..........(pauses to **** ear toward the distant sound) you will hear the death knell for your budget. I started with the basics from www.ucutathome.com, where I used my VIP coupon faithfully every month to get all of the complete sets of basic shapes. Then I bought the ribbon slides and the tags and some of the labels. I've bought my last few from www.scrapbookingalley.com because their prices are great and they have free shipping! A practically unheard of combination! My last order was the hearts and the fancy tags. They haven't arrived yet, but I know that I will use them a lot when they do. They CB is, hands down, the best crafting buy ( although it's a close race with the Scor-Pal) I ever made. I use it often and have just ordered the scalloped die envelope from SU. I use my CB on almost every project I make. You will love it!

They work wonderfully! Here is a link to a video tutorial on how to use the nesties in the bug to cut and emboss.

This is just out of curiousity, and also maybe just not understanding what all the machines do, but I have a question...

I have a Big Shot, and it will use any dies any other company has as well as it's own (except when the new bigger one comes out). Why would someone need multiple machines that seem to do the same thing? I know the new purse looking embossing machine is cute, but I don't see the need in buying that when my BS does that and more.

Just curious, and tia for any responses.

Here is a link to the Spellbinders/Nestabilities/Wizard FAQ in the Tools section. Wendybell did a great job!

I love my Cuttlebug and use it all the time with the embossing folders and Nesties. You will love it! Personally, I don't think you need multiple machines if they all do the same thing. However, I only own the CB so I can't speak from personal experience.

I have multiple machines and do use them. They are each good for what they do best.

Most I've purchased as I've upgraded. Got the Cuttlebug first, then upgraded to the BIGkick. I now only use the BIGkick for manual die cutting and embossing. I just feel it's a better and stronger machine.

I purchased the Cricut first then upgraded to the Expression 6 months later when I saw the additional things it can do over the smaller machine. I do actually use them both still.

I don't have any of the other manual or electric machines, but I do feel that each does have it's unique purpose and if it's in the budget and desire, people do have and use many different ones in the same home.

I don't sell or give away the machines I no longer use, so my original Sizzix and Cuttlebug just sit in the back of the closet.

I was just curious. I have played with the cricut, and I will eventually get one since I know that it does things my BS cannot do. However, I guess my curiosity came not from that but with manual ones. I just don't understand the need for say a BS, a wizard and a cuttlebug, or whatever other combination. I was just wondering if I was missing the big picture as to why...if that makes sense.

I ordered a scor-pal for myself for my birthday that's coming up in about a week and my first set of Nesties...HOORAY!!!! Both from Scrapbooking Alley. I was so glad to learn of them a few months ago and have been waiting to order. I've wanted both for a long time.

I love StampTV by Gina K Designs. Here she does a two part show on how to use Nesties in your Bug. I had to go and buy a Bug after watching this.

I hope that the links work, I have never posted links in a forum post before.
