Default Nestabilities Magenetic mat

Hi,

I got the the spellbinders magentic mat this weekend but now I can't figure out how to use it with my nestabilities and cuddlebug.

I place my stamped image face up and the plates and the put the nestabilities with the cutting sides down so I can see where I ma placing the nestabilities. I thought the magnetic mat would keep everything in place but if I put it under the image the nestability will cut it.

TIA,
Katie

I just bought one at a stamping convention today. The way that it was shown to work was to put the the "B" plate down, then the magnetic mat, then the nestability with the cutting blade up, then the cardstock, then the "C" plate. She suggested cutting into the "C" plate rather than the "B" because it's thicker and can withstand more cutting than the "B". I haven't tried it yet, but the demonstration really seemed to work good.

C plates are harder to find, though....at least around here. B plates are readily available.

I never thought of that. Maybe I'll continue cutting into my B plates! Thanks!

I love my magnetic mat! So helpful! I find it easiest to cut before stamping, the mat doesn't work well (for me!) to keep the image centered in the die. What I love most about the mat is that it gives a nice embossed edge without having to run the die through the machine a second time!
